Columbia University Summer Immersion Classes

The Online Summer Emersions program aims to allow high school students to interacts with Columbia scholars, engage with other students, and prepare for college and the admissions process. Students can choose between 1 or 3 week courses. They are open to all 9th-12th grade students.

Purdue University Online Courses for High School Students

Purdue University offers a variety of colligate level online courses in topics ranging from Governments of the world to Domestic Animal Physiology. Only open to students ages 16 and older. It offers an opportunity to explore academic majors students might be interested in. Students get a jumpstart into a college experience. 

University of Michigan Math and Science Scholars

This program intends on introducing high school students to current research and developments in the sciences. This program also helps to keep future generations interested in science and mathematics. There are three sessions taking place from early July, 2021-August 2021.

Skill Share

Skillshare is an incredible website to learn almost anything. There are both educational "classes" that you can take as well as learning about visual arts, music, illustration, business/marketing, and so many more. There is a free trial to test if you like it and from there you pay about $10/month to get unlimited access to all courses. You can learn so many new things or enhance your skills and talents. Even though you have to pay, it think is totally worth it.

Summer Stem Institute

Students will be emerged in a 6 week long STEM bootcamp led by instructors from renown universities across the nation. Students will learn the foundations of conducting data science research. Students will also be taught how to write publishable research papers. All students currently in high school or entering high school are eligable. Registration for 2021 Opens in November 

EDX Onlne Classes 

This website is an online forum for many online classes. Most of the Stanford and Hardvard class come out of this website. You can sign up for free and take many classes for free, but some classes you will need to pay for. You can also get certifications through some of the classes provided on this website.

Harvard Online Classes

There are some onlines calsses taht are provided by Harvard. There are calsses that you can take for free as well as pay for. There is a great variety of classes that you can take.

Stanford Online Classes

These are some online classes that are provided by Stanford. There are classes that you can take for free as well as pay some money for. There is a great variety of classes that you can take.

Udemy

Udemy is just like edx. It is a online forum for online classes. Most classes you will have to pay money for, but they are legit. You can get certified in certain areas through this website and take many higher level classes.

Notre Dame Summer Scholars Online

Participants spend two weeks in one of 24 exciting programs. The coursework aims to imitate true college academics. Classes are kept small and taught by Notre Dame faculty. Open to rising sophmores and juniors. Must be at least 16 years of age by August 1, 2021.
